It’s about time I put up my blog for The Global Time Attack Super Lap Battle. It was very hectic coming back from SEMA, checking out the Super Lap Battle less than a week after the show, preparing for the PRI show, and let’s not forget about the Thanksgiving holiday. Now that all the dust has settled, time to change gears and dive right into the Super Lap Battle.

Buttonwillow Raceway is Southern California’s premier racetrack and host of Global Time Attack’s Final Round of its 2016 GTA Pro Championship Series, Super Lap Battle. Teams come from all over the United States and Canada to compete in this series.

From show to track, some come straight from SEMA like Mike Essa and his BMW Z4 time attack car cooled by CSF. Some say racecars make the best show cars and I agree. No offense to show cars, but one of the best ways to test high-performance parts is by taking it to the track. Mike competed in the Unlimited RWD class finishing 8th with a time of 01:53.299.

CSF’s BMW Takeover (#BMWTakeover) continues here at Super Lap Battle. Tony Fuentes and his BMW 135i cooled by CSF finished 3rd in the Limited RWD class with a time of 01:15.741. With this finish, he was crowned 2016 GTA Limited Pro Champion! He also finished 1st in the Street RWD class in his Honda S2000. Be on the lookout next season for new developments on both of his cars by following Tony on Instagram (@tonyfuentes.af). Congratulations Tony on a great finish and 2016 GTA Season!

CSF would also like to Congratulate Chris Boersma on finishing 1st place in the Limited FWD class with his Honda Civic cooled by CSF. He broke his own Street FWD class record time with a 01:49.834 at Buttonwillow Raceway. CSF has been supporting Chris for a few years now and we’re very proud of his achievements. We continue to look forward to more successful years to come! For more from Boersma Racing follow them (@boersmaracing) on Instagram and be sure to visit the Boersma Racing website.

As Dj Khaled would say… “Another one!” Congratulations to Will from PZtuning finishing 1st place in the Unlimited FWD class with his Honda Civic cooled by CSF. He broke his class record with an impressive time of 01:43.365. Keep up with Will by following him on Instagram (@pztuningwill)

Snail Performance made their presence known as usual. Markos finished 2nd in the Street AWD class with his Subaru WRX cooled by CSF. Sally didn’t have a podium finish in her Subaru STI, however she did break a personal record at Super Lap Battle. She has something baking for next season and it’s something we all should look forward to.

Keep up to speed with Snail Performance (@snailperformance) and (@snailperformancemarkos). Check out their website as well for everything Subaru.

As CSF continues to Keep it COOL, we look forward to the 2017 Global Time Attack Season. I would like to announce that CSF will be the official COOLING Partner of Global Time Attack in 2017!

Visit Global Time Attack’s website for more information about the series and results. Feel free to contact them as well if you are interested in joining next season. Till next time….STAY COOL!
