It’s that time of year again. Bimmerfest 2018 is in town and aside from SEMA, this is one of the biggest shows that we really get excited about and look forward to each year. As many of you already know, the BMW market is one of our strongest markets and this year, we had a chance to debut some highly anticipated new products. We’ll get to that shortly.

As Memorial Day weekend approached, the rest of America was preparing for all the festivities for the weekend while we were preparing for Bimmerfest. As fast as our BMW products fly off our shelves, thankfully we were able to have a full display to show. Once we got all the display and show items prepared, we had to get our #CSFM5 show ready! This was perfect timing as we had set up a photo shoot on Friday, the day before Bimmerfest so it actually worked out to our favor as the weather was perfect. After the photoshoot was over, it was now time to switch into Bimmerfest mode!

Here’s some behind the scenes shots of the M5 during the photo shoot. We will share the details of where it will be published so be sure to follow us on Social Media.

The anticipation of Bimmerfest grew the morning of the event as I came across a few caravans on the way to the Auto Club Speedway. One advantage of being a vendor for the show is the separate vendor entrance. The line from the main entrance was piling up fast and from what I heard throughout the day, the line reached the front gate during its peak.

Booth set up for Bimmerfest 2018.

This was our set up at Bimmerfest 2018. We had a variety of BMW products on display including the all-new Ultimate Cooling Solution for the F87 M2. The F87 M2 cooling kit includes a Triple-Pass Radiator (CSF #7078), High-Performance Intercooler (CSF #8115/ #8115B) that comes in a silver or black finish, Race-Spec Dual-Pass DCT Cooler (CSF #8103) and a Race-Spec Oil Cooler (CSF #8104). Next to that, we had the BMW F1X M5/M6 Twin Charge-Air-Cooler set (CSF #8109) which was a joint development project with Pure Turbos. Alongside those units on display, we had the highly sought after Ultimate Cooling Solution for the F8X M3/M4. This kit consists of the Top Mount Dual-Pass Charge-Air-Cooler (CSF #8082/#8082R), the “GAME OVER” High-Performance Heat Exchanger (CSF #8075/#8075R) and Dual-Pass Race-Spec DCT Transmission Cooler (CSF #8081).

Once the gates opened to the public, it went from 0-100 real quick. The foot traffic felt like it was non-stop and sooner than you know, it’s lunchtime and people began lining up at the food trucks. It wasn’t until this point when I was able to make a quick round in vendor row to check out other booths. It wasn’t long until I started to spot BMW’s cooled by CSF. In fact, our neighbors next to us LTMW and Pure Turbos’ display cars all had CSF, coincidence maybe or #squadgoals.

Pure Turbos booth cooled by CSF!

The Pure Turbos booth was looking real nice! They had a variety of turbos that covered a wide range of applications. Their display vehicles were quite unique alongside their booth. Codys’ #2MGT3 was a crowd pleaser as they gathered around while he was demonstrating his 2-step skills. It literally blew some kids away. Did I mention he took 2nd place in the best Modified M class of Bimmerfest 2018. I think he deserved 1st place, but that’s just my opinion. Pure Turbos also had an M6 that had the BMW F1X M5/M6 Twin Charge-Air-Cooler set.

LTMW also brought out the heat with Kei Miura, @trakyoto Pandem E30. There’s more to this car than the oversized fenders. This E30 has a BMW E46 S54 swap cooled by CSF. Along with the E46 all-aluminum high-performance radiator (CSF #7058), it is also running the BOSS Premium Oil Cooler (CSF #8066).

Our friends at Mod Bargains had quite the display of F80 M3’s and F82 M4’s. Alan (@aw.M4), General Manager of Mod Bargains, had his Alpine White F82 M4 Cooled by CSF on deck. He managed to take home the Bimmerfest 2018 Best of Show Award! Congratulations Alan!

MFR Engineering’s own Mike (@m.jercan), who is a long-time supporter and good friend of CSF was hard parked at the Black Widow Exhaust booth. His fighter jet-themed livery is always a hit among the crowd. CSF also cools his F80 M3. He is equipped with the Ultimate Cooling Solution package for the F8X M3/M4.

CA Tuned made the trip down from Sacramento to show off their MintE30. This S54 swapped E30 made its debut at SEMA 2016 and it is always a true pleasure to see this car in person. We were honored to be part of this build by cooling this MintE30 with our all-aluminum high-performance radiator (CSF #3054). All the details that were put into this car make it a top-notch build. Click here for more information and photos on this build by CA Tuned.

You may not notice this E90 at first glance because last year it had the Jeff Koons BMW art car-inspired livery. Not too long after last year’s Bimmerfest, Mario (@e90mario), did a complete makeover on his E90. He got rid of the wrap and did a complete color change to BMW Java Green. He debuted this new look at SEMA 2017. His supercharged E90 is kept cool by CSF’s 4 piece cooling kit for the E90 & E92 M3. Mario also took home the 3rd place modified M award. Congratulations Mario!!

@handmadeshifts brought out his F87 M2 and was on display at the Studio RSR [link to: https://studiorsr.com/ ] booth. From the subtle looks of this M2, it would appear stock at first glance, but his license plate doesn’t say “Crackle” for nothing. This M2 is a true beast and is also cooled by CSF’s BMW F87 M2 high-performance intercooler, triple-pass radiator, and race-spec oil cooler.

As our brand continues to grow, so does our presence here at Bimmerfest. It’s amazing to see more vehicles equipped with our cooling systems. Here’s a couple more rides that repped CSF in the vendor area.

Big shout out to the Bimmerfest crew and to all of our partners and supporters. We really appreciate all the support! We are already looking forward to next year’s Bimmerfest! Till next time…..STAY COOL!
