The 2019 Wekfest show was held on August 4th at the LA Convention Center. Bringing enthusiasts from all over California to compete against some of the best builds in the industry to take home the iconic trophy and bragging rights.
Old Italians Get The Ultimate High-Performance Radiator
August 9, 2019 >>
The Fiat X1/9 is a two-seater, targa top, small Italian sports car with a mid-engine configuration pumping out 74 horse-power. The X1/9 was hot during its prime in the ’70s and ’80s, a “go-to” choice for young sports car enthusiasts. Popularity quickly grew as the vehicle performed extraordinarily well in slalom and hill climb races. Originally designed by car manufacturer Bertone, it was initially made as a Fiat model until 1982. Fiat then handed production of the car back to Bertone, who continued to produce the compact sports car until 1989. They have not been forgotten and are still quite the classic collectible car for automotive enthusiasts. For those still enjoying their X1/9 for track use, weekend cruising, or even daily driving, maintaining the vehicle with adequate cooling is key to having these classic cars stay on the road. More and more OEM copper/brass radiators are failing, leaving owners scrambling for a reliable replacement. Until now, most (if not all) after-market options available are not built to a high standard, and often prematurely fail after only a few years, some failing within a few months after install.
Because of the lack of a high-quality aftermarket radiator available, “The Cooling Experts” at CSF were called upon by Italian classic car aficionados Midwest-Bayless, to address this problem and collaborated to produce the ultimate high-performance all-aluminum replacement radiator for Fiat X1/9
CSF COOLS the best in SHOW BIZ

Summer is in full effect and not only is it the busiest time of the year for us here at CSF, but it’s the peak of the car show season. From the cars and coffee weekly meetups and the countless car shows taking place in the summer heat, it’s finally good to be indoors with the AC on blast. Spocom 2019 was a huge success, CSF brought the RUF 996 RTurbo Porsche and the S55 swapped BMW E30 to stage at our booth, both cars rolling in with the radiator fans blasting after just finishing a shoot with Matt Farah’s Smoking Tire, One-Take, check out the video HERE. This year’s show took place in a larger section at the Anaheim Convention Center compared to the previous years. I would think the spacing would be a bit more spread out due to the space, but I was wrong. They took advantage of the extra space and filled every nook and cranny.
The Ultimate Replacement Radiator For The R129 V8
July 30, 2019 >>
CSF is proud to introduce another industry exclusive to its growing line of “Classic Series” radiators. An All Aluminum Replacement Radiator, yet still high performance, for the Mercedes Benz R129 SL500 5.0L V8 – CSF#8057. These over-engineered German sports cars from the ’90s were technically advanced for their time, and have now entered the “collectible” realm of car enthusiasts across the globe. With fitment spanning a 12-year range from 1990-2002, and some of these early model vehicles now nearing close to 30 years old, the factory radiators with plastic end-tanks need to be replaced.

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is held on a public roadway, so for drivers to get any kind of course practice in, they had to do it between the hours of 5:30am and 8:30am for four days when the road is temporarily closed. Racing at 5:30am means waking up at 2am every morning and prepping the race car so its ready to rip right as the public roads are cleared. This also makes it difficult to dial in the cars with dewy asphalt and colder temperatures compared to race day where drivers begin to climb the hill mid day.
2 years of development to take on the most challenging race in N. America

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) is the second oldest motor race in the United States behind only the Indianapolis 500 with the first race in 1916. It holds an immense honor behind its name, being one of the most challenging hill climbs in the world, and it goes almost year after year, taking the lives of some of the most elite racers. It takes place every summer in the mountains of Colorado, as drivers and riders race for the fastest times going up 12.5 miles, 156 turns and speeding over ridge crests to make it to the summit of Pikes Peak where the finish line awaits. The 2019 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb race-day was set for June 30th and featured the CSF F87 M2 Club Racer V.2 from BMW R&D partner Tyspeed, piloted by none other than Tyler Pappas.
CSF Global Takeover

Greetings from across the pond!! The Players Classic Show kicked off last weekend at the world-famous Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester England. This will be a two-part journey that will take you through both days of the event. If you’ve never experienced this show, I must say it’s one to put on your bucket list. This two-day event begins with a proper car show and track day. The second day they line up a slew of cars on the main straight and pits so there’s plenty to see for every enthusiast. What makes this show interesting for someone from the United States is you get to see a lot of the European exclusive models and it’s great to see some American cars on foreign soil. This is our third year as a sponsor of the event and the CSF brand continues to grow as we see more cars outfitted with CSF cooling products.
