Throughout the last decade, the CSF High-Performance brand has made its name in the motorsports world, but many will be shocked to find out that CSF’s roots actually come from the heavy-duty and off-road world of copper/brass radiators. Since the ‘70s CSF has sold tens of thousands of H.D. Toyota radiators dating back to 3rd gen Landcruisers and FJ40s. We’re bringing it back full circle in 2020, with a renewed focus on our off-road line of heavy-duty performance radiators, especially for Toyota Trucks and SUVs.

It wasn’t easy, but it was bound to happen… the professional motorsports pedigree and advanced engineering of PWR, combined with the tier-1 OEM supplier qualifications and global distribution of CSF. After two years of meetings, countless visits by both companies, and endless late-night phone calls and emails to communicate from Los Angeles to Australia, the 1st of what is to be many collaborations is now available.
Big news flooded the car scene back in 2017. For Honda fans, it was huge. The United States was getting its first ever Honda Civic Type R.
For decades, die-hard Honda fans have been importing Type R vehicles, parts, and other components. The company’s high-performance roots are unlike any other, and have been survived by a group of true “grassroots” enthusiasts since the Integra Type R – until the return of the NSX and release of the CTR.
The sound of a V8’s cold start, the satisfying feeling of a perfectly rev-matched downshift, or banging off a car’s rev limiter, sliding through a corner – all things that cannot be fully experienced without the internal combustion engine.
Anyone that has truly experienced one, knows M cars are a class of their own. Sure, they sit within that popular luxury-performance segment alongside the -V lineup, AMGs, and more – but, unlike many others, they still sort of have that raw feeling when you’re behind the wheel that makes them so much more fun to drive than their plush counterparts.
Our favorite thing to do here is to help those with cooling issues. It sounds simple, but it’s a bit deeper than that. A lot of times, they’re ongoing for those with heavily modified vehicles, so when we can provide a product to overcome it, customers are super appreciative – less time sitting in the pits (or on the side of the road) and more time enjoying what they’ve built.
Like other components of cooling systems, upgrades to oil cooling systems are often overlooked. Overheated oil struggles to lubricate the engine properly – harming internals over time. On any car making significantly more power than factory, or any car tracked or driven hard; upgraded oil coolers are essential for maintaining optimal temperatures – in turn, lengthening oil and engine life.

Just Because You’re Old, Doesn’t Mean You Can’t Be COOL

The BMW E30 was your typical entry-level luxury car that started off with a two-door sedan style body. BMW eventually evolved the E30 into four door sedan models, convertibles and estate (“Wagon”) models in its later years. The E30 was the first 3 series to offer not only the estate and sedan body styles, but the first 3 series to offer a diesel engine and all-wheel drive models with the 325iX. The BMW Z1 roadster was also based on the E30 platform. Let’s not forget that the FIRST BMW M3 was built on the E30 platform (you can check out the world famous BMW E30 M3 with an S55 swap cooled by CSF here).
