CSF is no stranger to strategic partnerships. Having teamed up with some of the biggest players in the Euro and JDM tuning world has brought about some of the best cooling systems on the market. The partnership CSF formed with Dedicated Motorsports has yielded some truly innovative and need cooling products for the domestic market.

Dedicated Motorsports (DMS) is well known for their work with forced induction GM vehicles such as the CTS-V, Corvette ZR1, and Camaro ZL1. Factory equipped with superchargers, these muscle cars can lay down some big numbers. However, big power means loads of heat to deal with. Given CSF’s massive success with forced induction cooling, this was a match made in tuning heaven.

CSF and DMS both take pride in manufacturing the highest quality aftermarket and performance parts for your race car. As both automotive professionals and enthusiasts we know exactly what it takes to perform at peak levels on both the track and street.

DMS C6 Corvette ZR1 high-performance Intercooler Heat Exchanger – #8078

The C6 ZR1 was the first GM muscle car to come from the factory with forced induction. A supercharger allows for substantial performance gains with a higher boost pulley and simple tuning. However, that increase in boost generates a lot more heat. So much so that the factory intercooler and heat exchanger have a hard time keeping up and the engineers at DMS needed a solution. Determining that the intercooler’s heat exchanger was the main culprit in the experienced heat soak and high Intake Air Temperatures (IATs), they came to CSF for a solution.

CSF and DMS engineered the #8078 as a “Direct Bolt-In” replacement unit for an easy and straightforward installation. This heat exchanger offers a 100% increase in cooling efficiency over the factory unit. The heat exchanger not only allows for increased performance but also increase the longevity of your ZR1’s LS9 engine.

DMS C7 Corvette Z06 / ZR1 high-performance Intercooler Heat Exchanger – #8106

Similar to the previous generation ZR1, the C7 Z06 and ZR1 come from the factory with a supercharged 6.2L V8. In stock form these Vettes already suffer from heat soak on hot days or under prolonged heavy driving conditions. With the success of the C6 ZR1 Heat Exchanger, it only made sense for CSF and DMS to team up again to offer a heat exchanger for the C7.

The #8106 is also designed as a “Direct Bolt-In” unit requiring no special modifications to be made for installation. The heat exchanger boasts an impressive increase of 100% efficiency over stock. Getting the most out of your C7 Z06 or ZR1 has never been cooler.

DMS 2nd & 3rd Gen Camaro ZL1 / 3rd Gen CTS-V high-performance Intercooler Heat Exchanger – #8205

The Camaro is one of the most iconic muscle cars to ever roll off the assembly lines in Detroit. In its fifth generation, Chevy decided to add a factory supercharger. The ZL1 received the same motor as the 2nd generation Cadillac CTS-V, but this motor produced a whopping 580 hp. For the 6th Generation the ZL1 received the same supercharged LT4 found in the C6 Z06. Similarly, the 3rd Gen (16-19) CTS-V also shared this motor and had more crossover parts with it’s bowtie cousin.

As we’ve seen many times before, these motor suffered greatly from heat soak due to the superchargers and lackluster factory cooling. To resolve these issues, CSF and DMS designed a “Direct Bolt-In” heat exchanger that is more than 2 times larger than the factory unit. The combination of the larger surface area and added fluid volume greatly reduces the the ZL1/CTS-V’s heat soak issues.

More CSF Product for your Camaro or CTS-V

The 6th Gen Camaro and 3rd Gen CTS-V have a lot of heat management issues. GM added Auxiliary Radiators to help deal with the heat issues, but they still struggle to keep up. CSF now offers upgraded Auxiliary Radiators for your Camaro or CTS-V so you can worry less about overheating and spend more time pushing your beast to the limit.

DMS 2nd Gen CTS-V high-performance Intercooler Heat Exchanger – #8206

While the 2nd Gen (09-15) CTS-V and 5th Gen Camaro ZL1 share the same motor, there isn’t the same crossover in parts like the newer version of each. However, given the popularity of tuning on the 2nd Gen CTS-V, DMS decided it was time owners had some good options for cooling.

Like the #8205, the #8206 is a “Direct Bolt-In” design that more than double the size of the factory unit. The combination of the larger surface area and added fluid volume gives your CTS-V the needed cooling to push harder on the track and/or cope with added power from tuning and more boost.
