Wekfest is one of southern California’s most premier import car shows. This is CSF’s last show of the year as we focus on pushing for the end of summer in our busiest time of year and preparing for the SEMA show in Las Vegas. The 2019 Wekfest show was held on August 4th at the LA Convention Center. Bringing enthusiasts from all over California to compete against some of the best builds in the industry to take home the iconic trophy and bragging rights.
Wekfest Southern California is one of the only places in the car scene where enthusiasts can enjoy the many “flavors” in any given vehicle category. Exotics, classics, modern-Euro, VIP curtain-boiz to 90’s JDM goodness, and US domestics. No stage, dance-off’s or models that shouldn’t be models were present, just bad-a** cars. CSF brought the COOL with our 2018 SEMA booth car; the S55 swapped E30 M3 and our very own 1,000whp Porsche 911 991 Turbo. We went down row-by-row of the show to see who was really “staying cool” with CSF on their cars.
@Devn_de_los_angeles parked with the @LTMW and LD97 Forged wheels, equipped with our BMW N55 High-Performance Stepped Bar/Plate Intercooler (CSF #8115/8115B).
@pterodactyltactics Super Trofeo Twin Turbo Huracan was the first car you saw when walking into the hall. Marc took home the trophy for Best Exotic. Utilizing CSF intercooler cores for his charge-air-coolers built by Sheepey race.
@Bisimito brought out their classic Honda CRX, sitting under the AEM booth and utilizing CSF’s K swap radiator.
This civic drove from Texas to join this years Wekfest, running CSF’s tuck radiator CSF#8024 to keep him cool on his journey.
@carbon_STI ‘s fully done Varis kitted STI is utilizing CSF “O” line of Subaru Radiators with the built-in oil cooler CSF#7042O took home the award for 2nd place Best Subaru.
Another STI is utilizing CSF’s “O” line of Subaru Radiators with the built-in oil cooler CSF#7042O.
Wekfest 2019 is a wrap and to cap the event, the CSF S55 swapped BMW E30 took home the trophy for Best Euro of the show. Everywhere we have taken this car it has been an absolute hit and we cannot thank Corey from @HonestAssembly enough for letting us show off his one of a kind car to the enthusiasts of Southern California in the last few months.
CSF Owner Ravi, cheesin’ with this years hardware and bragging rights.
The staff and crew of the show put on another great event and having everything run smoothly, thank you to those involved. We are looking forward to Wekfest 2020 and who knows what SEMA show car we will bring next year, but it won’t upset.
Till the next show…stay COOL!
