Hello! What is the thread size/pitch. I’d like to add a pressure transducer for a water pressure gauge on the dash and want to make sure it will work.

    Hello Cam,

This does not fit the 2022+ WRX Models. All of the CSF Racing Division products offer performance advantages. We have not developed a radiator for the 2022+ WRX yet but it is something we will be looking into.

    Hi Kyle,

The #7094 could be used with a CVT WRX, however you would need to run an external/separate cooler for the CVT. The #7042O could be used for the CVT as the built in oil cooler could act as a transmission cooler. You simply need to cap off the Turbo Return Pipe on Top Passenger Side End Tank.

Just wondering why you would need a external/separate cooler for the CVT? The WRX already has one from the factory so why is it necessary? Thanks

    Hi Garland,

I apologize. I did not realize the CVT on the newer models uses an external cooler for the transmission unlike the older automatic models which was built into the radiator. In this case there would be no need for an additional transmission cooler on CVT models that come equipped with the separate cooler.

I also have a 2009 with an automatic transmission. Would it be appropriate to purchase the radiator with the oil cooler and use for transmission (maybe with an external trans cooler)? Also, for a daily driver roughly 400hp that drives in ambient summer temps of 115 deg f. Coolant temp rises to 120 briefly after light boost. Is a single row or two row most appropriate?

    Hi Keith,

Sorry for the late reply. You would be fine with the single row, however it would save you a lot of time and energy to use the CSF #7042O with the built in oil cooler as your transmission cooler. Finding the correct fittings would be much faster than mounting and running new lines for an external transmission cooler. However, both have their merits and just depends on how much you enjoy the installation and fabrication process.

    Hello Sean,
I apologize for the delayed response. Yes, the 7094B is available online from several retailers. If you have a preferred retailer you purchase from that is a CSF authorized dealer that doesn’t have it listed, you can contact them and they will order it for you. Many sites just take a while to upload new parts to their online catalog.

Is there special fittings I need to purchase for the 7095 to work properly on my 2009 Suburu forester XT AT? There’s no where on the radiator for 2 trans cooler lines to connect too.

The #7094 & #7095 are only designed for manual transmission vehicles. You would need to run a seperate oil cooler to use this radiator on an Automatic Transmission Subaru.

The information pertaining to the transmission type is on other pages but the original author of this post forgot to include that it only fits Manual Transmissions. We have updated this specific page to include that information.
