CSF’s last big show of the summer happened a couple of weeks ago in Toronto, Canada. ImportFest, billed as Canada’s “Biggest and Baddest car show”, did not disappoint. CSF is proud to release it’s best in class Mazda Miata ND all-aluminum triple-pass radiator. Just in time for spring & summer track season! The Mazda Miata is one of the world’s most popular roadsters of all time, and one of the most raced production cars in the world. Many track enthusiasts select a Mazda Miata as their weapon of choice because of its on track abilities, easiness to modify, and its long lasting affordability. The new 4th generation Mazda Miata (ND) was one of the most highly anticipated models in it’s class. It shares the Alfa Romero Spider chassis which gives the ND a more sleek and sophisticated design, yet it still has that true motoring edge with a lighter body and enhanced performance (weight distribution 53/47 % front/rear).

What happens when a car enthusiast decides to have a family? Facing the dilemma of getting rid of a project car to make room for something more practical is not fun at all. Freddy Chang was looking for was something track-worthy and family friendly at the same time. What he ended up building is the Ultimate Family Driving Machine, an E91 M3 wagon. Working closely with So-Cal heavy hitters, LTMW, they’ve managed to trick this wagon out with almost every M3 detail imaginable; everything from the S65 V8 engine swap, with an ESS Tuning VT2-625 supercharger, to the exterior front and rear M3 fenders, and even inside with proper gauge cluseter and shift knob swap! This M wagon checks off all the boxes.
The Porsche Cayman is as close as it gets to a perfect mid-engine sports car. Relatively speaking the “budget Porsche sports car” is the best bang for you buck when looking to live the “P-car” life but not break the bank. If you’re looking to turn a road-legal Porsche into a full blown race car or simply have some fun on the street, possibly with some occasional track duty, you can do no wrong with picking up and modifying a Porsche Cayman or Boxster.
Earlier this month CSF wrapped up the 2016 show season with a final appearance at the PRI show in Indianapolis. This was the 1st display appearance for the Racing & High-Performance Division of CSF at the annual hardcore motorsport trade show. Taking place annually at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, and with CSF having a unique booth location in the middle of the convention center, we knew that we had to bring something “next-level” to stand out.

It’s that time of year again. SEMA 2016 is here and just like every year, we intend to bring the boom! Our theme this year is #BMWTAKEOVER. We will be featuring the world debut of 2 fully built BMW race cars. The wide-body BMW M4 Endurance Racecar by Yost Autosport (Las Vegas, NV) and a custom wide-body E46 M3 Racecar with an E92 M3 swap by Pure Performance (Orange County, CA). We will also be introducing several new cooling systems for 2017.
It’s been more than 4 months since the last blog post… way overdue! It’s been another crazy year so far, and with the summer in full swing, and very hot summer I might add. It’s been hectic to say the least. Traveling hasn’t stopped, but fortunately I was able to hit up Importfest 2016 in Toronto, Canada earlier this month while I was up there handling some loose ends from our Canadian division.
