First-Ever Liberty Walk Porsche
Liberty Walk has no qualms about cutting up new, six-figure exotic sports cars to restyle their bodies. Their latest creative remake is their first-ever Liberty Walk Porsche, the product of a collaboration among BBI Autosport, CSF Cooling, and Liberty Walk for the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show to prove that Liberty Walk cars can impress with performance as well as appearance. The Porsche 997 was perfect for the collaboration. BBI builds and tunes some of the fastest, and the 997 is the latest high-end European sports car to get the LW treatment. Add CSF racing for cooling support for a splendid construction.

Turn 14: CSF’s 997 GT3 Full Cooling Package Offers Irreplaceable Peace of Mind
My reframed approach toward the “Porsche Moment” had two tangential benefits: patience and resolve. Together, that concoction reinforced an unwavering approach toward creating my ultimate GT3. This slow burn allowed me to be deliberate in my selections — like the Recaro Classic Pole Positions, 18″ Advan GT Premium wheels, Öhlins TTX coilovers, and Akrapovič Evolution titanium exhaust — but also the privilege to enjoy every improvement along the way. Today, that calculated approach brought me to CSF and our usual Montgomeryville, PA stomping grounds, R/T Tuning.

Pelican Parts: Porsche 996/997 Center Radiator Installation
The venerable GT3 design includes a center-mounted radiator that was sometimes installed on various Carrera models as well (mostly Tiptronic transmission equipped cars).
The larger, more powerful engine dictated the use of the front-mounted radiator in addition to the two standard side radiators. Adding the front-mounted radiator is a good upgrade for cars that will be driven in hot weather or have undergone some performance modifications. In particular, if you’re going to be taking your Carrera out to the track someday, I would recommend the installation of the additional radiator. It will provide some significant added protection against overheating, as it typically reduces the highest operating temperatures by about 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit (7-12 degrees Celsius) after installation.

Porsche 911 997 radiators are known to fail and need replacement. Over time, the plastic end caps on the factory radiators heat cycle will eventually leak. While you can replace your radiators with OE versions, we recommend aftermarket replacement with a reputable company like CSF.
The left and right CSF radiators in the kit featured in this video are not only made entirely of aluminum, but they have also increased cooling performance over the stock Porsche 997 radiators. Whether you drive on the track, spiritedly on back roads, or you are just cruising around town, additional cooling is always welcome, and these CSF radiators increase cooling capacity by 40% and efficiency by 20%.
