The most compact sized oil cooler from the CSF range, this oil cooler can be mounted and used in many different configurations. The oil cooler design allows endless mounting configurations in ways most conventional oil coolers cannot. Also, the durability of the bar/plate core enables it to be installed in areas where a large amount of debris would typically be a problem for fear of puncture and failure.

CSF's Universal Oil Cooler #8119 is the most compact in the CSF line up. The smaller size makes it ideal for mounting in tight locations and in many different configurations. It has become incredibly popular on Air-Cooled Porsches as a supplementary oil cooler and as an OEM replacement depending on the application.

Product Details

The unique design of CSF's oil cooler line has distinct advantages over conventional style oil coolers (plate-type/stacked oil coolers). The oil coolers can be placed in tighter spaces or different areas of the vehicle that don't have much vertical surface area. Longer rectangular sizes can also help with avoiding the stacking of too many coolers which may cause airflow issues to other components in the cooling system. Inlet/outlet port placement is much easier to route oil lines. Typical oil cooler lines have to be routed from different/opposite ends of the cooler often facing up or down. Usually one line has to run across from one side of the cooler to the other to then be routed together to the feed/return connection of the oil system. The CSF oil coolers are much more robust, durable, and can withstand a higher peak burst rate. This allows the cooler to be mounted in areas that might get high debris (front fascia, diff cooler, side vents, etc). The CSF oil cooler is designed to withstand a tremendous amount of vibration and debris.

993 Turbo/S & GT2 Front Oil Cooler

The CSF #8119 can also be used as an upgrade/OEM+ Upgrade for the Porsche 993 Turbo/S & GT2 Oil Cooler. The CSF Cooler is larger, more robust, and about 1/4 the cost of a new OE unit (993 207 235 08) from Porsche. This upgrade requires fittings for oil lines and a custom bracket to mount to OE mounting location. Euro Parts West makes a full bolt on kit for the Porsche 993 using the #8119.

964 & 993 Additional Front Oil Cooler

The CSF #8119 can also be used as an additional oil cooler on the 964 & 993. This is a perfect OEM+ Oil Cooler Upgrade for the 911. Both Euro Parts West and CARGRAPHIC use the cooler in a bolt on/plug and play kit that is designed to run in series with the OE cooler.
