Turbo Kraft's Full-Width intercooler package is the largest Intercooler for EFI-equipped 911 Turbos. This kit features greatly increased surface area for additional charge air cooling, airflow, and performance for the 1976-94 Porsche 911 Turbo. The system supports up to 600 hp at the wheels (650+ hp at the flywheel) continuously, making it a serious upgrade over many OEM-style coolers that begin to lose effectiveness around 450whp.

They design, develop and produce specialized packages to improve the efficiency and performance for Porsche street and sport-cup cars. Turbo Kraft uses a CSF Air-to-Air Intercooler Core to build their high-performance 911 Turbo EFI Full-Width Intercooler Package.

This isn't just a bigger cooler, it is a complete bolt-in package engineered to lower intake air temps, reclaim lost power, and smooth turbo response.

Design & Engineering

Engineered from the ground up for high-performance with a motorsport-grade bar & plate core from CSF and 100% TIG welded construction. Each unit is built in a fixture to guarantee fit, then individually flushed and pressure tested for leak-free operation. The full-width design dramatically increases both surface area and airflow path compared to stock or smaller "side-mount" style intercoolers, which means it resists heat soak even under heavy sustained load.

Test Results

Sample dyno results, gains over Andial/Garretson 930-S intercooler:

  • +43 horsepower and +37 torque to the wheels
  • maximum boost 250rpm earlier

Test car: 3.4L EFI 930 with typical bolt-on upgrades (headers, muffler, turbo, cams)

Turbo Kraft vs OEM

The Turbo Kraft Intercooler has a Heat transfer cooling area over 3x larger than the 3.3 Turbo, and almost 2x the C2T. The intercooler's Surface area is almost 2.5x larger than 3.3 Turbo, 70% larger than C2T.

A Complete Package

The package ships complete with inlet and outlet charge pipes, reinforced couplers, clamps, and all mounting hardware; everything you need for a clean install. Sensor ports and hose connections are located thoughtfully so that removal and reinstall of the intercooler don't require disassembling unrelated systems.

Finish Options

Intercoolers are delivered in raw as-fabricated brushed aluminum unless you specify a preference at the time of order. Satin black ceramic finish is the most requested optional finish, giving the intercooler a more OEM appearance. Turbo Kraft offers expert coating and polishing services at an additional cost. Please allow 3-4 weeks additional. Other finish options available upon special request.


⚠ Fitment Notes

  • Not for use with original CIS fuel injection.
  • Compatible with factory optioned air conditioning (M559/M573).
    • *The original air conditioning condenser must be removed from the rear wing for additional clearance. It may be relocated to the left rear fender, or replaced with an upgraded aftermarket assembly for better cooling.
    • *No changes to the compressor are necessary.
  • 1976-77 Turbo Carreras require a 1978-89 rear wing to accommodate the intercooler.
  • DOES NOT clear the optional rear windshield wiper motor (option code M425) - the wiper and motor must be removed, and the factory blanking plug installed (#999-703-169-40)
